Adults

Adult 5k

ADULT 5K RACE

Adults race to win cash prizes.

5K WALK

Beginning immediately following the start of the Youth 5k, Adults walk a 5k.

youth 5K

Parents/guardians of youth in the Youth 5k may register for the Adult 5k and accompany their kids in the Youth 5k, but must start in the back of the pack and catch up with their kids later. Adults in the Youth 5k are not eligible to win prizes. No other adults are allowed in the Youth 5k.

ELITE MILE

This race is for men and women who can run a mile faster than 4:15 and 4:50 minutes, respectively. Elites compete for cash prizes. Field will be limited to 15 men and 15 women.

OPEN & Masters MILE

This race is for adults aged 18-and older who don't meet the elite standards but can finish a mile in 10 minutes or less. Masters runners (age 40 and older) compete for cash prizes.

FAMILY MILE

This event is for runners and walkers including individuals and families. Participants have 20 minutes or less to finish. There are no prizes.

Adult Mile

Dog mile

This event is for humans age 13 and older and their BFF canines on leashes. Participants may race to win prizes or jog or walk. Participants must finish in 15 minutes or less.

Our family events allow families to jog or walk a mile or 5k together.

Individual adults may also participate in the family events. Please scroll above for adult event descriptions.

5K FAMILY WALK

This event is for infants, grandparents, and all ages in between to enjoy together. It begins immediately after the Youth 5k start.

FAMILY MILE

This event is for casual adult runners and families to jog or walk a mile. Participants are required to finish in 20 minutes or less.

Youth

The Youth 5k is for high school aged and younger. Children race without adult interference and a child breaks the finish line tape!

Parents or guardians of youth in the Youth 5k may register for the Adult 5k and run with their children in the Youth 5k, but must start in the back of the pack and later catch up with their children. No awards are available for such adults and no other adults are allowed.

Youth Mile

Youth 1/4 to 1MILE

Spirit Run offers multiple youth mile races, from 1/4 to 1-mile, broken down by age group as follows:

Age 7-8 1 Mile

Age 9-14 1 Mile

Age 15-17 1 MILE (high school)

DOG MILE

Youth age 13 & older may also compete with dogs on leashes in the Dog Mile and must finish in 15 minutes or less.

This event is for children age 3 and younger. It takes place in the expo inside a fenced, astroturf covered area. Multiple start times take place between 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
