Plan ahead for a smooth arrival at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort.

Know before you go

Race-Day Parking

To reduce traffic and support Newport Spirit Run’s sustainability efforts, we strongly encourage participants to carpool. Please allow additional time for parking and walking to the start area.

Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort (the Dunes) has two parking areas: the Jamboree Lot, entered from Jamboree Road, and the PCH Lot, entered from Pacific Coast Highway.

Parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Rates are established by the individual parking facilities.

  • Enter the lot from Jamboree Road at the corner of Jamboree Road and Back Bay Drive.
  • Follow Newport Spirit Run parking signs and staff directions.
  • Payment will be collected when exiting the Dunes after the event.

PCH Lot

  • Enter the lot from PCH at the corner of PCH and North Bayside Drive.
  • Follow Newport Spirit Run parking signs and staff directions.
  • After parking, follow the pedestrian signs along North Bayside Drive, cross the Dunes pedestrian bridge and continue to the Event Expo.
  • Payment will be collected when exiting the Dunes after the event.

$15 per vehicle

Use the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach lot (Hyatt Lot) only after both the Jamboree and PCH lots are full or when event parking staff direct you there.

Enter the Hyatt Lot from Jamboree Road via the hotel’s main entrance at the corner of Hyatt Regency Drive and Jamboree Road.

Please do not go to the Hyatt Lot unless directed by Newport Spirit Run parking signs or staff.
